In-Home Euthanasia
When you schedule an in-home euthanasia visit, the goal is to create a moment of comfort, dignity, and kindness for both you, your pet and all who have joined to wish them a farewell. The average visit lasts between 45–60 minutes, but we always move at a pace that feels right for you.
When you and your family are as prepared as you'll ever be, gentle sedation is given in the scruff to help your pet relax and become sleepy. If you wish, a paw print and lock of fur can be collected at this time for remembrance.
The last step is a second injection that helps your pet peacefully pass away. They will feel no pain or fear during this process.
If you desire, after giving you and your family time with your pet, we can arrange to transport your pet for aftercare and return your pet's ashes home.
This service includes travel, appointment time, sedation, and euthanasia. Please reach out for aftercare options and pricing.
